"It's my birthday too, yeah ..."

I know the date is burned onto your brain, written on all your calendars ... but I just wanted to remind you that tomorrow is my birthday. Yup. 45-freakin' years old. Halfway to 90. How did this happen??? *sob*

Because I've seen others with online journals do the same, I'd like to suggest ways YOU can celebrate my big day. :-)

How To Celebrate Dawn's Birthday(which is tomorrow, so get busy)

1. Promise to de-clutter every room in your house ... tomorrow.

2. Call your pet "Hayley" for the day. Follow your pet around and croon "Hayley-pooooo" until it gets annoyed and runs away with its ears laid back.

3. During a semi-important meeting or phone call say "I don't know. We should ask Dawn what she thinks of that."

4. Wear Birkenstocks.

5. Watch "All My Children", and talk back to the characters. Cry when Erica realizes what a bad mother she's been.

6. Change your computer wallpaper to a picture of me.

7. Call your significant other "Ya freakin' goof" for no particular reason.

8. Postpone cleaning the house for another week.

9. Eat a piece of bakery cake with yummy lard icing.

10. Take a really hot shower ... so hot that you come out all red and wrinkly.

11. Perform a random act of kindness.

12. Out of the blue, tell someone "It's Dawn's birthday today. She's 45, but she doesn't look a day over 24!" (A harmless little birthday lie never hurt a soul.)

Don't you dare forget to leave a comment telling me what you did!

I think I'm gonna postpone cleaning my room for another week (or more) and take a really hot shower....or as hot as the shower in this apartment will let me! I love you and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Love, Emilie :)

I watched "All My Children" and talked back to the characters, but by the time I realized who Erica was, there was only like ten minutes left in the show so I didn't have time to get emotionally attached.
Also, I called the unidentified growth in the bottom of my refridgerator "Hayley", but I didn't follow it around because it doesn't move much.
Sorry for half-assing it.

When that unidentified growth DOES start moving, I hope you'll consider doing the same ... as in moving OUT. Ya goof. Thank you VERY much for making me laugh on my birthday.

I love you.

I called you..but no answer :(

Then, in your honor, I postponed cleaning my house for a whole year. And I said to my office mate at work, "Today is my sister's birthday. She's 45!!!" OMG how the hell did we get so old?

I hope your day was a great one. I love you.

xoxo Kay

x-squeeze me. I believe the line was supposed to be, "It's Dawn's birthday today. She's 45, but she doesn't look a day over 24!" You can't just stop halfway! Oh well, I guess the postponing of cleaning for a whole year more than makes up for it. Good job!

:-) Love you.

Happy belated BIRTHDAY!! :)

I hope that your birthday was wonderful.. I celebrated the heck out of it yesterday by calling my s/o a "freakin' dork" (goof, dork.. same thing, right?) and took a scorching HOT shower! When I got out I couldn't see through all the steam! :) I wish I could have been with you on your birthday. And no, you don't look a day over 24. You're beautiful and I love you!

Awww Beth, You told that lie with such a straight face, I almost BELIEVED it! :-) I look every minute of 45, and I think I will decide to be proud it. Now if only my face would decide ... will it be wrinkles or acne??!! Arrrgh!

66 days until we cruise away to paradise!

Love you,
Aunt Dawn
